Dear Seniors of 2014,
Some of whom I’ve known since our days in Elementary school, others whom I met in Junior High, some of whom I met as a freshman, and some whom I’ve only met this year,
Whether you are my acquaintance, or a complete stranger, or one of my best and closest friends, you have offered me so much help as an underclassman– from pointing me in the direction of a classroom to homework help or course recommendations for the coming year, even to offering a shoulder to lean on in hard times.
Some of you I may see again if you’re staying in town to achieve your future endeavors, others I may see occasionally, and others I may not ever see again. Which isn’t always a bad thing; we all move on, right? And with the help of social networking and modern technology, we can still stay in touch. Maybe I’ll see some of you on TV one day, and I’ll smile and say, “Hey, I knew them! They’ve come so far!”
I’d like to thank you for being such an awesome group of people. You are brilliant and talented, and you have a lot to offer the world.
You have inspired me and kept me going throughout the years. I am lucky to have known so many of you. The school will be very empty without you, but you leave a legacy. I hope to be an influential role model for the underclassmen as we rise to fill your place, just as you were for me.
The once Happy-Go-Lucky 7th grader who loves all of you dearly.
