Sports update: Water Polo advances in CIF competition

Yesterday, the Dos Pueblos Chargers took down Vista Murrieta at DP’s Elings Aquatic Center, final score 13-7.

The playoff game helped the Chargers advance to the next CIF round in division two.

Senior Grant Schroeder and sophomore Blake Parrish led the team in goals and helped DP finish the first half with a score of 9-3.

The Charger defense also contributed to the victory as goalie Emil Huebner recorded 14 saves and two goal assists.

For the next round of CIF, DP will play top-seeded Agoura on Saturday at the Elings Aquatic Center at 4:15.
