Hey Dos Pueblos Chargers! Although winter break is approaching, there are a lot of activities that are going on around campus that you can participate in.

Penny Drive

As holiday season approaches, those who are less fortunate may not have enough to have a joyful holiday season with their families. Dos Pueblos High School is holding their annual Holiday Penny Drive in your fourth period class from December 10 to December 19. All the proceeds will be going to the Santa Barbara Unity Shoppe. The class with that raises the most amount of money will receive a pizza party! So donate as much as you can and you can have the satisfaction that you indeed are helping a family in need.

 

Toy Drive 

Dos Pueblos will also be holding a Toy Drive for young children this holiday season. It will be held from December 10 to December 19. All the toys will be donated to the Santa Barbara Unity Shoppe and local children in the Goleta Union School District. Donate so you can be responsible for making a child happy this holiday season!

 

Canned Food Drive

The Canned Food Drive will be held December 10 to December 19. All the canned food donations will be donated to the Santa Barbara Unity Shoppe for low income families to shop for their families during the holiday season.

 

Chalk Festival

From December 12 to December 20, Dos Pueblos will be holding a chalk festival! If you’re feeling creative and artsy this is a great way to show off your talent for all the students to admire!

 

Holiday Package

Holiday Package Tickets go on sale Wednesday, December 12. Don’t forget to buy your tickets because they sell out fast! They will be $5 and will be sold at a table across the Athletics Office. Holiday Package will be held December 17 to December 21.

 

Badminton Tournament

Are you interested in playing a fun sport with your friends? Intramural sports are beginning with Badminton! The tournament starts December 13 in the gym at lunch. Sign up at the Athletics Office and get ready to show off your awesome skills! The brackets will be announced here.
