Announcement about SBCC Math Assessments for Math or Econ

For the 2017-2018 school year, students interested in taking a Santa Barbara City College Dual Enrollment Math or Economics course taught by one of our teachers on our campus must take the SBCC Math assessment in order to have the option. The following courses can not be taken unless a student has taken the SBCC math assessment…

Math 150/160 (Calculus)
Math 117 (Statistics)
Math 114 (Mathematics for Liberal Arts Majors)
Econ 101 (Micro-economics)
Econ 102 (Macro-economics)

Students can take the assessment at Dos Pueblos on

Friday, May 12th at 8:00 am in the Cafeteria or
Friday, May 19th at 2:00 pm in the Cafeteria

Students can sign up in the counseling office with Mr. Sofro before school, at lunch or after school starting Wednesday, May 3rd. Students must have a Santa Barbara City College student ID (K number) in order to sign up for the assessment. If a student cannot take the assessment during these times, they can go to SBCC and take the test in their assessment office and bring the results to their counselor.
