Each person has the ability to make an impact in the fight against big environmental issues such as climate change by simply paying attention to the items you purchase and use.

Humans are currently overexploiting the earth’s natural resources and pushing the limits of the planet’s ability to restore itself. In Western society especially, we are pushed to consume at an ever increasing rate without any regard for the environmental costs and other external costs of the products we consume.

We have a responsibility to minimize the waste we are creating if we wish to continue sustaining life on this planet. Each one of us can easily make a difference by exercising your consumer power to support businesses and products that do not degrade the environment. By exercising this power, we can reduce the demand and therefore the production of products such as single-use plastic and fast fashion clothing.
